This policy explains what personal information Maraheb Rent a Car collects, why, and how we look after it.
1. This website
You don’t need an account. The booking form on this site does not send anything to our servers: it writes your request into a WhatsApp message on your own device, and nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp.
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep basic technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure.
2. What we collect
What you send us on WhatsApp, by phone or email: your name, rental dates, pickup place or delivery address and any notes.
At pickup, the documents UAE law requires for renting a car: Emirates ID or passport and visa, and driving licence. Payment and deposit details are handled at pickup.
3. How we use it
To answer your request, prepare and manage your rental agreement, handle tolls, traffic fines and accidents, and meet our legal obligations in the UAE.
4. Who we share it with
Only when needed: government authorities and the police when the law requires it (for example for traffic fines), insurers after an accident, and payment providers. WhatsApp (Meta) handles messages under its own privacy policy.
We never sell your information.
5. How long we keep it
For as long as needed for your rental and for the periods required by UAE law.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it where the law allows, under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
